Meet George at 9:15 am in Candelo Park. We will be visiting his property at Tantawangalo where he will escort around this huge property for yet another visit. Bring the usual lunch and chair.

Thursday 12 June, 2025 EVENING MEETING
Meet in the Uniting Church Hall, Henwood St, Merimbula for a 7:30 pm start. Guest Speaker will be Doug Reckord, Principal of Bournda Environmental Education Centre.
Saturday 14 June, 2025 CATHCART, BLACK LAKE, BOMBALA
Meet at 9:15 am at the Cathcart Memorial Hall car park. Rug up for a visit to some of our favourite spots around Cathcart/Black Lake/Bombala. Expect to see Flame Robins and possibly a platypus or two. Bring a snack and a chair for a morning tea stop along the way and pack some lunch or pick up a hot takeaway in town.

Sunday 22 June, 2025 WINTER IN BEGA
Meet at 9:15 am at the Bega Saleyards, Kerrisons Lane, Bega ready for the traditional Bega in Winter outing. Visiting at least four sites we always have a great species count of water and bush birds. Bring food but we could well be lunching in the grounds of Bega Cheese Heritage Centre with shop available.
Saturday 12 July, 2025 WOLUMLA, Old Mill Rd private property
Meet at 9:00 am on the corner of Princes Hwy and Old Mill Rd, Wolumla. Once assembled we will drive to the end of Old Mill Rd to the property of Wendy Noble for a return visit to the Muttonwood forest we missed last visit in March, and other tracks on this large block. Bring snack, lunch and a chair.
Wednesday 16 July, 2025 PANBOOLA SURVEY (3rd Wednesday)
Meet at 8:30 am at Panboola Centre, Watsons Waterhole, next to Idlewilde Motel in Bullara St, Pambula for the winter survey. Wear sturdy shoes. Carry snack and drink, insect repellent. Takes about 3 hours.

9:15 am for 9:30 am in the Panboola Centre, next to Idlewilde Motel.
Sunday 27 July, 2025 BIRD ROUTE 3, WYNDHAM to ROCKY HALL
Meet at 9:00 am between the school and the Wyndham Store. We’ll be heading for Rocky Hall with a few stops on the way and lunch at the Big Jack Mountain picnic area. Bring a chair, food and drink.
Saturday 9 August, 2025 CORUNNA LAKE, private property
Off to Eurobodalla Shire! Allow about an hour drive from Bega to be at your destination at 9:30 am. Head north on the Princes Highway, pass through Cobargo and Tilba. Continue on Princes Highway to find The Old Highway signposted pointing to the Tilba Winery. Turn left into the Old Highway and immediately pull over to the left and assemble. Annabelle will have 3 stops for us at the back of Corunna Lake. Bring provisions as usual.
Thursday 14 August, 2025 EVENING MEETING
Meet for a 7:30 pm start in the Uniting Church Hall, Henwood St, Merimbula. Guest speakers will be Max Beukers and Katie Oxenham from NPWS talking about the Nungatta predator-free animal enclosure and latest developments there.
Sunday 24 August, 2025 WAJURDA POINT AND NELSON LAGOON
Meet at 9:15 am on the north side of the bridge at Mogareeka. Check here for birds then proceed north to the Nelson Lagoon turn off with a walk to Wajurda Point on the way then on to Nelson Lagoon. Driving from Bermagui watch out for the left hand turn when nearly down to Mogareeka.
Wednesday 3 September, 2025 WALLAGARAUGH RIVER CRUISE
The 2024 trip was a success and the Gypsy Princess is booked again to depart Gypsy Point, Vic and explore the Wallagaraugh River from 12 noon to 4:00 pm on Wednesday 3 September. Snacks provided, bring own lunch, toilet on board. 19 passengers and already half booked. Cost $50 p.p. Contact Barbara asap to claim a seat. Stay overnight in Mallacoota? Enough time to drive home in daylight if preferred.
